They’re invaluable to what we do and how efficiently we can do it. We’re proud to have a new crew of employees at Access and we’d love for you to get to know them.
Here’s a quick Q&A with Danielle Wolfe, an account coordinator in our San Francisco office.
All over the east coast. I was born in Northern NJ and lived there for eight years. Then I moved to Atlanta, GA, where I lived for another eight years. At the age of 16, I moved to Charlotte, NC which is where my family is currently located. I, however, moved to San Francisco just about three years ago.
I heard about Access through the lovely Emma Lowenstein.
Your role at Access includes…
I currently work on the two Safeway teams (OpenNature and SimpleNutrition) as well as Intuit Small Business.
When you’re not working at Access, you…
I love staying active and challenging myself. I’ve done two Olympic distance triathlons, I’m currently training for a marathon and I was a rower throughout college. So if anyone needs a workout partner, I’m your girl. In much the same vein, I also spend my free time blogging about health and fitness, reading others’ wellness blogs and catching up on magazines I love like Fitness and Women’s Health.
I also have a not too healthy obsession with reality TV, including anything on Bravo and the “16 and Pregnant”/ “Teen Mom” series. I can’t help it, I started watching The Real World at the age of six.
The best part about working at Access so far is…
The people! Everyone has been so nice, accommodating and knowledgeable about what they do. I have been learning so much and I haven’t been afraid to ask a question so far. The off-site in May wasn’t too shabby either.
And your most prized celebrity sighting is…
I have no “prized” celebrity sightings, but I saw Rachel Zoe in L.A. and saw Joan Rivers storm out of NOPA (my favorite SF restaurant) after not being seated immediately.
What’s your (Musical) poison?
I listen to NPR…a lot and I love Jillian Michaels’ podcast. When I do listen to music, it mostly revolves around making workout mixes (read cheesy pop music). Recently, I’ve been rotating in new Britney, Kid Cudi, Ke$ha and Miike Snow into my playlists. I have also been known to rock out to Miley Cyrus.
If you could pick one reporter to live a day in the life of, who would be and why?
NEAL CONAN. I am obsessed with Neal Conan and “Talk of the Nation” because the topics and guests are all so interesting and topical. I would love to be half as knowledgeable as he is about a range of subjects from pop culture to politics. Fun Fact: I wrote one of my college essays on literally stealing his job at NPR. What career accomplishment do you wish to achieve in the future?
Something that allows me to further embrace my love of fitness and nutrition.
